2017 tested 5 star ANCAP rating

The tested model of Toyota Camry was introduced in Australia in November 2017 with build dates commencing September 2017. This model is due for release in New Zealand in March 2018. This ANCAP safety rating applies to all Camry variants.

The passenger compartment held its shape well in the frontal offset test. Pedal and steering wheel displacements were well controlled. Driver and passenger contact with the airbags was stable. Driver chest protection and protection of the lower legs of both the driver and passenger was rated acceptable. All doors remained closed during the crash.
