Intelligent Speed Assistance

The vehicle detects the current legal speed limit and notifies the driver.

How does ISA work?

The car has the ability to read speed signs or obtain this information from the cloud. ISA can be advisory or limiting in nature, as such, the vehicle provides visual or audible warning to the driver if the set speed limit is exceeded (advisory) or the car's speed is adjusted to match the posted speed (limiting).

Why is ISA important?

Every km/h over matters: exceeding the speed limit by 3km/h is associated with a 25 percent increase in crash risk.
